Not all sentencing fits the crime. 3 Strikes has sent people to prison for life that if you would research furthermost that they had a substance abuse problem, that could have been corrected through treatment visa the penal system. <br />We have to start looking for a reasonable solution than just lock them up attitudes. We have to look at cost effective treatment to offender's. <br /><br />Not all offender's are addicts, but I would safely say that 80% are. One thing I would like to know what % of these offenders are out of state transferees, or are they sex offenders that can't be housed in GP? The scourge of society.
